The Horrors of the Modern Home

While the hazards associated with using lead based paints and asbestos to build houses are well understood, less is known about the potential hazards associated with modern building materials. Over the last 20 years there has been increasing use of plastics and a wider range of chemicals in building materials. This talk will outline some of the potential hazards and provide an argument as to why there is an urgent need to better regulate materials that people come in contact with daily.
