It’s All About Our Connection With the Place!
Almost all societal issues can be traced back to human–place interactions and relationships. Our identities are shaped by where we are born, where we've been, and our physical or virtual environments. Join Associate Professor Chen in exploring our connections to places from an environmental psychology perspective. He will discuss how these connections shape social identities and behaviours through the impact of storytelling on culture, and how support for local sports teams and mega-events like the Olympics transform places and their people.
