Powering the Future: Understanding Energy, Climate, and the Path to Transition
Energy is at the centre of our society. It’s everywhere, in everything, and has helped us to do all kinds of incredible things. But what exactly is it? And why is it so important? In this talk, we will learn about energy from the basics to the big challenge. We’ll talk about how energy and climate are closely related, why we need an energy transition, how hard that transition might be, and why there is still hope for us to succeed.
