Bio
Dr Lauren Jones is a gut neuroscientist at the Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute. Lauren’s research investigates the role of gut-derived serotonin in gut-brain communication in the context of mental health. Lauren has received numerous awards for her science communication, publishes in international peer-reviewed journals, and is currently an ambassador for the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering.
