Sh!t Talkers in Conversation
Jodi Lee Foundation Ambassadors Kellie Finlayson and Sophie Edwards are both battling with bowel cancer and the ongoing collateral damage that this disease has. They've teamed up to create a podcast called Sh!t Talkers where they bring you the good, the bad and the offensive every week. They have connected through sh!t, bonded through sh!t and grew through sh!t, literally and figuratively.
Kellie and Sophie will speak about bowel cancer, how to prevent the disease and their work with the Jodi Lee Foundation. They will also share their bowel cancer stories in a real and raw yet humorous way.
Bios
Kellie Finlayson, wife of Port Adelaide Football Club key forward Jeremy Finlayson, was diagnosed with Stage IV bowel cancer at 25 years old, just three months after giving birth to their daughter Sophia. Kellie joined the Jodi Lee Foundation as an Ambassador in 2023 to raise awareness for the early detection and prevention of bowel cancer, hoping no one else has to go through what she is going through. Kellie uses her platforms to urge everyone to trust their gut and see a GP if something is not right.
Sophie Edwards, ex-Bachelor contestant, was diagnosed with Stage III bowel cancer at age 34. At the time of diagnosis, Sophie's son Jaxon was only 7 years old. Sophie joined the Jodi Lee Foundation as an Ambassador in 2023 to raise awareness for bowel cancer prevention and early detection, encouraging others to view their poo, trust their gut and advocate for themselves.
