Your inner voice is a 3 year old child - an approach to changing the stories we tell ourselves

As we walk through the world, our inner voice narrates to us as if it were a documentary. The story we hear dictates how we feel about things and how we experience life. But what if our story is a tragedy? How do we change it? Join Dr Troye Wallett to find out what he thinks about his inner voice (spoiler: it is a 3 year old child!) and learn how to use cognitive biases and behavioural psychology to change your story and life.

Bio

Dr Troye Wallett thinks about wellbeing, health, and self-work. He does so because he is a GP, entrepreneur, and teacher. He works as a GP at ProHealth Norwood and visits Aged Care Homes to care for older Australians.

In 2014, seeing the need for more GPs in the aged care sector, he launched GenWise, an aged care specific general practice. GenWise won the National Telstra Business of the Year in 2017.

Dr Wallett is a consummate learner and is driven to share his knowledge. He enjoys speaking and teaching on many topics that pique his interest.
