Life inside the movies
From the sleek cities of Bladerunner and Black Panther to the sinister towns of the Stepford Wives and the Truman Show, screen culture tells us about what we do (and don’t) want from our cities and towns. In this talk, join urban planner Stephen Rowley and explore how on-screen places shape the cities and towns we live in and what cinema and television communities tell us about where our cities and towns are headed.
