Was it ABBA or the Jackson Five? I honestly can’t remember. Whichever was my first LP, it set me on a path of collecting that spans five decades. What started as a hobby as a kid, turned into a passion for a teen, an income as an adult and is now just a way of life. Spinning at iconic clubs such as Zhivago and Garage Bar, co-hosting the enduring Souled Out Sundays and as host of Podcast - Diggin’ Deep, I like to share the music and make the People Dance! Join me, as I tour you through the tracks, the joys of collecting, the challenges of a ‘hobby income’ and how I keep the people dancing! A tale of music that spans the decades.

Bio

Jason Lee started his record collection as a teenager in the late 70s and has been a regular DJ personality in Adelaide since 1993 at many iconic and timeless Adelaide venues, including at The Crown and Sceptre Hotel, Zhivago and Garage Bar to name a few. As Co-Founder along with Dave Collins (Fresh FM), he also continues to host the popular Souled Out Sundays at a variety of venues and host his own podcast called Diggin’ Deep. He also provides private tuition and lessons for new collectors and upcoming DJ’s who want to learn the ropes. Whatever your taste in music is, the deep sounds from Jason Lees collection, with his mix of Jazz, Soul, Funk, Disco and House and anything in between is sure to please your ears and sooth your soul.
