Creating Impact in Healthcare
Sarah became familiar with the problems in obstetric monitoring as a result of the traumatic birth of her second child. She was unhappy that the current gold standard was the best we could do for mothers, babies and clinicians. Even more shocking was that everyone seemed to know the problem that existed, yet there was no change. Sarah’s journey towards solving this problem has certainly been an eventful one. Between PhDs in medicine, developing a new medical technology Oli™, becoming a CEO and having a third child, there has not been a dull moment. Even as a patient or user of the health system you do have the power to impact change for the better. Sarah hopes this becomes a path more travelled for others looking to improve the problems they face within health and medical areas.
