Driving dollars with diversity

Research shows that diversity in decision making greatly improves project outcomes, including business financials. A lack of diversity in decision making can often result in skewed, or bias outcomes and business slump. Join Associate Professor Duygu Yengin as she explores how diversity in decision making translates to business dollars, and social gain, and how we can address a lack of diversity at decision making levels.

Bio

Dr Duygu Yengin is an Associate Professor and Deputy Head of School in the School of Economics at the University of Adelaide, having received her Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the London School of Economics and PhD in economics from the University of Rochester, USA. Her research interest lies in designing fair solutions to economic resource allocations. Dr Yengin is a founding national and SA committee member of the Women in Economics Network Australia and is actively involved in several diversity and inclusion initiatives. She is a member of the SA executive committee for the Economic Society of Australia.
