As an experienced, results-driven ICT business professional, Damien Manuel has more than 20 years of experience specialising in cyber security, business governance, compliance and risk management. Damien is the Director of Deakin's Cyber Research & Solution Centre and is the Chair of the Australian Information Security Association (AISA), a not-for profit organisation which aims to improve Cyber Security in Australia at a Government, Industry and Community level.
Professor Warren is a Professor of Cyber Security at Deakin University, Australia. A researcher in the areas of Cyber Security and Computer Ethics, Professor Warren has authored and co-authored over 300 books, book chapters, journal papers and conference papers. He has received numerous grants and awards from national and international funding bodies, such as: Australian Research Council (ARC); Engineering Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) in the United Kingdom; National Research Foundation (NRF) in South Africa and the European Union.
